Good morning GTA! Up at 0500 CDST. We got plenty of rain yesterday also. We left this morning on our way to Memphis stopping off in Ridgeland on the way so my wife can pick up some fabric.
Took a 10 minute break from work and popped the hood on the Titan to check the oil. Looked like water had sprayed all around the motor area. Upon further inspection I found a 3" split in the top radiator hose. Must have just happened because the truck never got hot on the way to work this morning. Local parts joint has one for $20 so I had them put my name on it. (only one in stock)Good thing Betty Lou now has a truck. I'll drive it back to work after lunch and pick up the hose after work.
TGIF!Yesterday was akin to being thrown into a cement mixer, worked hard and put away wet. I hope today is a little more laid back. ...
Up at 0500 CDST. It’s It's Saturday! We're visiting our oldest daughter and her family for a week. I brought a truck load of tools as my daughter usually has a few things that need repairs. Today I took the defunk garbage disposal out of her kitchen sink and replaced with a traditional drain. Yesterday I rebuild the carburetor on their lawnmower and the lawn mower cranked on the second pull. We all took turns walking behind it. It's a John Deere self propelled mower with a Kawasaki engine. Afterwards we all worked getting the lawn in shape. Monday I'll cut some unwanted trees and hedge down that has grown up.
