Can you paintball them? If so I'd open up on that sucker.
I’m trained to “haze” nuisance Florida black bears by the agency I work for. We use a 12 gauge bean bag round from a safe vantage point like behind the door of the truck or out the door of a structure. We are prepared to skedaddle if the bear don’t scare. This is for the relatively cowardly Florida black bear. I don’t think I would recommend bear hazing with a paintball gun.
That couldn't be the one I almost hit on La Tuna Canyon Rd. I'm not sure I'd want to upset one, even one from around here. Paintballs? Only if I had my Dan Wesson with the 265gr JSP's (800+ FPE loads) on the hip, in case it was from out of state or something.

The best Bear rugs are when Yogi comes out of hibernation, in the early spring, no rub spots from the hot weather etc.MikeWhat about one of those plastic BOOM bottles, that would scare Yogi down the trail.......LOL,get a video as that will be priceless to see.............. Don
