Got a chance to shoot this sheet today. Pretty early on in the match but I’m not sure I’ll get a chance to do better before this round closes and I’d rather not just sit on it and wait.

Ditto on the nice shooting Blue.
Not sure I have seen better accuracy with the 18’s at 100 yards! And, for two consecutive months.

Shooting Date: 05/30/20
Shooter: Tom Boylan
Distance: Outdoor range; 100 yards lazer'd
Gun: Daystate RW Safari .25
Optics: Sightron 10-50X60 MM; 2FP
Ammo: JSB MK2 34g
Wind: WNW 4 mph
Group:1.19" CTC
Position: Bench Rest seated; Rear Bag and Accu-Tac Bipod
The wind was light when I shot this target. Recently, I have probably had at least 6 or 7 "almost" 50/50 targets, but for that darn 5th pellet! What is it about the 5th pellet running the group or score? FWIW - I probably shot around 30 or so NUAH targets for the June NUAH entry, so this is cherry picked. Starting to mix up the shooting sessions with shooting EBR 100 yard official targets, and is that ever humbling! lol...Tom

Great shooting Tom. I've got three more days/nights to try and get out there and pull the trigger.
You might get to see how bad I shoot in the wind?

I want to thank Tom for calling me today and motivating me to get off my duff and pull the trigger. So here's my submission.
Fussell
FX Boss
Sightron SIII 10-50x60 on 30 power
JSB 30 cal 44.75 gr at roughly 877 fps
Wind....had a little...say 1-3mph
50/50 with no x's and 0.64" ctc
Benched standing , front bipod, rear bag as usual
Got this tight little group on the 5th card. Also got a nice tight 0.80" group on the 4th card right before it. Cards one through three were nothing to write home about. Had 2nd and 3rd cards that were 1.62" and the first card was a complete catastrophe.
Also I learned my gun shoots the best groups right before it falls of the Reg. Shot that nice tight 0.64" 5th card and went to the 6th card. You could see the pellets drop a good .5 to an inch with each successive shot. I didn't have much air to begin with and only filled it to just under 200 bar.
The dang mosquitoes bout took me away, and I managed to shoot these cards just before dark around 7:30.

Those are two nice cards! I’ll take your second place cards every time. Anytime you can put all five shots inside the ten ring, is a good outing. Doing it twice is fantastic! That Boss should be outlawed it’s so accurate! JK, but nice shooting on the cards!
Re. Mosquitoes - I use Mosquito Squad @ $60/month from May thru September. They will retreat for free if you have any issues. I back up to a woods and this solved my issue. I know you have a big yard but you can specify the area you want them to treat and it should help for shooting purposes.

Thanks Tom, never heard of Mosquitoe Squad before. I'll have to look into it, although I doubt I can find anything like that out here in the sticks of Burgaw/ St Helena? LOL
I'm still studying those EBR targets.Looks like their 8 ring is 2 inches, same size as our 9 ring. Their 9 ring is 1.25" and you're allowed to touch the line where as our score goes to the lower score if it touches the 9 line from inside the 10 ring. Gonna be a little confusing on the scoring till I get the hang of it.
I sure have enjoyed reading Mike Niksch's post on his new 100 yd Thomas. Would love to see him at EBR or RMAC with it. I know, sadly RMAC is canceled this year. And Mike's Nationals at Whittington Center should be one heck of an event.
Anyway, thanks for the motivation, and now Mike Niksch has me lusting over one of his .22 cal power houses! LOL
