I’m new to air rifles and am trying to learn as much as possible about the sport. I was wondering if someone could point out a good Facebook group that is based in the US. I enjoy some of the European groups but would really like to find one geared toward the US and how things are here stateside.

I have a list of air gun groups I created on Facebook. Automatically making me Administrator. I also admin or mod a couple more. Here's a list of mine;

just use facebook search, there are general groups as well as model and brand specific groups, all with one thing in common, people who ask how much anytime you post a picture and fake profiles popping in with links to scam websites for guns and ammo

Hi Greg,
You might find that one or more sections of the Gateway forum will provide the info and community you seek. It may seem a bit odd, but the sections are well mapped. If you scroll up and look on the right of your screen, there is a roll down menu indicated by "Select Gate". Click on that menu to scroll through it.
If you were specific about the type of air rifles and shooting you are interested in, we could post direct links to speed thing up for you.

That’s what I was thinking, I prefer The GTA for all things airgun. Fakebook is for starting trouble. ;)

As Greg (the OP) has not been to the forum in months, I figure he is not seeing the latest suggestions. One of his 3 posts mentioned an interest in Weihrauch airguns, so I emailed him this cryptic message:

Many vendors here all have FB pages for their businesses and often update them days to weeks before putting that same information into online forums.
Case in point, Nick from NSA put out weeks ago about his moving his business out of CA. So long ago that I have put in 2 orders and have received them both, before reading here that he was moving here, and I have gone back to his site now and all the slugs I ordered are now sold out.
Found out a vendor here is pretty much the only place that actually has JSB pellets in stock, air guns in stock in real time and not have to wait and hope for the best.
I believe that it's just another tool that I can use, plus I use it for work to gather information I can not find online.

Most of my family & old friends are on Facebook. I just decided to make some groups of my own on there. But I have the trolls, hackers, etc to deal with as well. You get to where you can spot them easily after awhile.
