This isn't a submission. Just thought I'd show ya how feeble my old mind is?  Went out to grab a couple bullet
traps from the hundred yard shooting I did last week and found these four targets I had left back there. A couple of em weren't too bad.

Awesome shooting Tom. You typed 1x in the description when I know you meant 4x/ Might want to edit that right quick.
I'm gonna try to get out there before the match is over, but got a new toy coming tomorrow. Little .22 Vulcan. Might be too busy playing with it? And got a .25
Vulcan coming in with it for a friend.

Thanks guys!

My edit function gave me a problem, so I quoted my original entry and corrected my narrative - thanks Jimmy.  Good luck with the new toys.  I’ll reach out to you once you try it out.

My submission for the 7th match this year 2020

Jimmy Fussell
FX Boss
44.75 grain JSB 0.30 cal
Standing bench at night
Sightron SIII 10-50x60 on 30 power w/scope zeroed at 100
Score 50/50 w/ 3x  0.82 ctc

Figured I had to jump out there and join Tommy before I ran out of time. Just couldn't get a groove on tonight? Shot twelve targets and the 8th was the winner of the night. I had some terrible groups as well? I was at the bottom of the tin? Maybe that has something to do with it? Seems like I always get wider groups at the bottom of a tin? I'll post the twelve targets with excuses in next post. LOL

Tommy, didn't want you to shoot this one alone, so I got out there in the dark tonight with flashlight setup. Shot 12 targets. Two of them fell from the bullet trap after the 4th shot? Didn't bother to set them back up for the 5th shot. They weren't worthy of the trouble to start with? Target numbers 1 & 5 were the ones that fell.
Had some pretty crappy groups tonight? I'm guessing it's because I'm at the bottom of the tin, but I hate to open a fresh tin each match? LOL Gotta shoot em sooner or later.
Took pics of them all, in groups of 4. Had some serious flyers?

Went out to the McBride range yesterday morning.  Cold and misting all morning but at least the wind wasn’t too bad, about 6-8 mph with some short breaks where it was around 2-4 mph, mostly from my right rear.  Shot a practice target while waiting for a break in the wind then shot a NUAH target.  First two shots went into the 10 ring but just as I let the third shot go the wind came up a little and carried the shot high left into the 9 ring.  My last two shots went low left so the wind must have slowed down just a bit.

Shot two more practice targets then the wind really slowed down so I quickly shot another NUAH target and was able to shoot a good group.  I’m glad I shot that group quickly because right after shooting this target the wind got worse and stayed that way.  I moved to the 50 yard range to do the rest of my shooting.

100 yrds – McBride Range
Bench with Front Rest & Bag Rear
Wind 2-4 MPH
45 degrees and misting
50/50 2X   .838"  CTC

Hey Jimmy

I just saw these recent submissions from you and Mike - wow!

You did shoot a lot of targets, but you were too hard on yourself.  Several of these look pretty good to me. I’ll tell you what.  That Boss is one fine air rifle.  It continues to amaze me how accurate that gun can shoot, and you’re not too bad yourself!

There are so many 50/50 NUAH cards being posted in the last several months, maybe they should move
the target distance out further.  I’m just kidding and 100 yards is far enough for me!

You submission for October is fantastic and glad you could get out.

Good luck with the new Vulcan(s).

Tom

Tom.... did you err on the date as well as the X count ;)? The 9/23 date puts you in match #6. Outstanding shooting though.

Marty

I had already submitted my September entry earlier in the month.  I actually did shoot this card on 9/23 and since I already officially submitted my September card, I was going to use this for October.

No worries if it can’t be used for October.  I’ll try again next month.

You got my vote Tommy. I agree to letting you submit it for this match. That's one *(&^ of a score to not be recognized?  4 x's is tough to get. Fine shooting brother!

Tom, If no other contestant objects I'll let the target be used in this match.

FYI....there will only be one more match this year and I'll be away most of next week with marginal internet service. Results and the next match might be running late.

Thanks Tom.  The wind really died down to almost nothing when I shot that target.  This is the best target I've ever shot at 100 yards with an air rifle.  I've only shot a sub-MOA group one other time with an air rifle and that was in the match in May.

Looks like I goofed trying to get Tom's "Quote" but not get all of my original message in this reply.

Here’s mine for this round. I’ll be back at the range tomorrow but my priority has been practicing for the 2020 EBR Lockdown and I think that’s all I’ll be shooting for.  Shot my 100 yard target Friday and got one of my better scores (218/250 with 3 x’s), just have to shoot my 75 yard target and submit.

Another great match with some very close scores. Excellent shooting everyone.
Since no-one objected to tommy2toes posting an earlier target I included it in this match and he took 1st place. Scores in my original post.

Happy Birthday, Tom.  I"m 72 and I can't remember what it was like to be 67.  The good thing about having memory problems is that I wake up every morning and find a strange, attractive woman in my bed... then she reminds me she has been my wife for over 52 years.  lol.

Don’t sweat the memory issues. 😆

The fact that you are waking up each each and every day; and..... to that same wonderful woman says it all!
