Hear Ye, Hear Ye....
The 8th match of the season is now open.

Due date for the scores and a scan of the target sheet for Match #8 is Sunday August 2nd 2020.

Please include the following with your entry:
Call name or real name
Air pistol used
Sighting system
Pellet and caliber
One or Two-Hand grip
Score

Shoot whenever you can, be safe and have fun

thanks! I did have to qualify with a pistol when I was commissioned eons ago.  Haven't shot one other than casually since then.

First let me say- welcome aboard-I am 82 and had the same problem when I started here. I can't remember who sent me the help on how to post but  after doing it a little while, it is not that hard. I feel sure that someone will either post it here or you can send a message to Hoosier daddy or Glassman or marty and they can help. If you don't get it figured out I will try to lead you through. I do know that I cannot add a pic when using internet explorer. I use Firefox and it works for me.
By the way- that is a great score.

I don't even know what firefox is...this is my Samsung Galaxy company phone.  No desktop or laptop and especially no iphone or i-anything since I'm allergic to apple products.

I posted the target pic on the GTA Facebook group. Hope that helps.

If someone could PM me their email address or cell number I could send you the picture as well.

Thank you!  I plan on being a regular on 5 meter pistol.   Our garage is the 5m range.  I'm enjoying our Daisy 717 from the DT Fletcher collection.  I think it had some kind of trigger mod.  We also have a Beeman P17 on the way.

The local 10m range is closed and our 853 and 901 are not challenging at 5m which is why we acquired the pistols. 

I'm a 60 year old physician and my girlfriend is a 54 year old nurse.  She's a Gulf war veteran and Army sharpshooter.

We also plink with BBs at 5m for fun.

Suggestions and tips always welcome and thanks again.

I think my 134 score might have been beginner's luck.  Tried a few more today and couldn't break 130.

I've noticed that the grip is very important.   Shots tend to go leftward unless the left hand fingers firmly cover the right hand fingers, especially the left thumb firmly on the right.

Very impressive!!!!...we have a P17 inbound and may we ask a question or 2..

Did you use any mods like loctite for the rear sight? The word is it wanders.

We heard it's not pellet fussy.  Does it like RWS basics or Crosman hollowpoints which is what we have now?

Why yes this is the famous U-tube star from the video   (  Beeman P17 Pen Mod  )  with over 15.6K views
The rear sight has loctite blue .  I lube it every season as I run it through the GTA  pistol matches.
Its not pellet fussy ,  here I’m using the cheap Crosman 7.4 Wad cutters as they show up good on paper for the match.
Some days I shoot better then others, this was a good day.  ( Remember, the most important rule is to have fun!!!!!!! )
