I guess I'll start this one off. This is the first and only card I shot tonight. Didn't have the x count I'd like but the group was really tight. The Boss just makes it too easy? I shot about 4 or 5 sighters to get my bearings then shot this card.
Also I moved my target from the 106 yds back to just under 101 yds and shot this in the dark with a flashlight shining on the target.

J. Fussell
FX Boss .30 cal
Sightron SIII on 30 power
.30 cal JSB 44.75 grain
Standing Bench with Bipod and Rear Bag
Wind calm, but shot at night.
50/50 1X 0.73" ctc

With the way that four of the pellets grouped I know there was at least 1 X, possibly two but hard to tell with the huge hole it made? .30 cal is my favorite caliber with groups consistently like this. I'll post my .25 Royale results next. Had to work a lot harder with it!

Excellent job, Jimmy.... One of the smallest groups I have seen at 100 yards in NUAH....

After I shot the killer group with the Boss tonight I headed to Food Lion to stock up for the hurricane and then came back and grabbed the .25 cal FX Royale 500.
Well , it's no where as consistent as the Boss, or maybe it's just hold sensitive? I had to shoot at least a half dozen cards to get a few decent ones. And I even got one sub inch group that rivaled the Boss. But it wasn't centered enough for a good score

J. Fussell
.25 cal FX Royale 500
Sightron SIII on 35 power
.25 cal Jsb 25.39 grain
Standing bench, Bipod, rear bag
50/50 1X    1.4" ctc
Calm, shot at night

Thanks Bob, I matched it with the Royale tonight but it took several cards to get there. It scored a 49/50 with no x's but it was also 0.73" ctc! I know the gun can do it, but as my granddaddy used to say..."you gotta hold your mouth right"

I grabbed my .22 Cricket pup after that but couldn't get anything less than 1.5" and I was wore out, so I gave up.

Marty
I wish the .25 could out shoot the .30, but on the results you posted the .25 should be the 1.40" group and the .30 had the 0.73" group.

Look forward to your entry JB. I'd give it a go with my .22 Cricket but the mosquitoes will take you away right now.

JB, that's excellent shooting in that wind. Wow, you're a better wind reader than I am. Looks like a 47/50 which is pretty hard to do on a calm day! You've got that Gauntlet dialed in. Thanks for joining us.
I went out yesterday to set a target and the mosquitoes were so bad I was inhaling them as I breathed! Couldn't stand it, so I packed it in and gave up.

I hate mosquitoes a lot but never hit one yet!

It was really fun and yes the .25 Gauntlet is tuned and polished by Haji himself and it is a game changer

Wind here is interesting and not sure why I can beat it sometimes and not others but here is the data that I will use to contemplate on.....Range is directly SSW facing so this data that is from my brother in laws weather station about 2 miles up the ridge shows it was a predictable direction at least....LOL this is so much fun to think about!

My 100 yard PA Cup shooting was all over the place in like 7 to 12 mph and bottom 10% scores

I was very nervous

I am setting up 30 yards and 20 shots match for this month and will be using 22 cal Aspen on low power like 770 with 15 g and from a shooting stick like hunter class field Target stuff. Hope to see u there too?

I do not want to change a thing right now on the gauntlet lol

I will not make it this month, My sister called her husband had taken a turn for the worse so I am in New Jersey to help with family things.  Although sitting here in dads kitchen and looking at the Sheridan by the door I am wondering what the hold over for my childhood Sheridan would be at 100 :)

My older brother had a pumping Sheridan in 1972....no scopes.....he was 10 years older than I was but to me he could hit anything with that thing!

My guess is with a FFP scope at x34 at 100 yards he would still beat me with his Sheridan!

Family is everything....good luck and best thoughts your way.......

That was quite the journey to the east coast to shoot in the PA cup. Awesome. At least you know what to expect next time!

Mark, wishing your sister and brother-in-law the best. I know she appreciates all your help.

Yes more is great or maybe not....... this would likely be my best place finish because I know from PA Cup experience how good you all are out there and I would like to move up off the bottom
