Great summary from Wolverine in the Announcements Gate. I took a few pictures of the group. Tater and Smaug2 were trying to solve some problem, excellent shooting form by the group, Tater and wife Nicole had a great time, great discussions on various topics. Sorry Tom, this was a one-day only event, 8/12. Joeschmoe did a great job with the arrangements. Several Brothers / Sisters had planned on attending but Life Happened. I look forward to the next Fun Shoot - anywhere.
Thanks Tater I had a great time. Felt good shooting all my various pellet brands and weights in the 3 Hatsans to see what they can do. I was amazed at the assortment of equipment that showed up. It was great to meet Grace (Joe's sister) and Tater's wife Nicole. Both good shooters as well. A very open and friendly group that knows their airguns. Wolverine came up with so many shooting ideas I wanted to write them down! The pressurized water bottle coated in peanut butter and peanuts is my Sunday project.... can't wait. Thanks to Smaug2 for doing the pellet test on my Bullboss 22 with JSB 18gr. I'll get some of those on order soon. Very nice grouping. And I thought it was the gun's fault! I'm still taking it all in.
I see a number of abandoned farm houses on the back roads around the area. Getting a permission at one of those would be fantastic. I'll work on that one.
For those that could not make it this time, you missed a super day, great facilities, and excellent company. It put me in a happy place for sure. Lets do it again soon. Dave

I see you joined 8/12 after the Fun Shoot, that is great. I should have included you in the group picture at lunch. I think you will enjoy the GTA forums, lots to read and feel free to ask these expert members any questions you have. Have a look at the "Darkside Gate" where PCP air rifles are discussed. Anyone hear from JoeSchmoe about regular air gun shoots at Hickory Hills? I already have the itch.....
Got a donation of valve stems from Discount Tire to fill plastic bottle. The sound is amazing, 2L are the best though.
