That's just me though.Well, that's not so bad then...Tightening the barrel pivot hinge, polishing to the right screw for the trigger and adding a little moly paste, and replacing the spring in the barrel detent makes the Trail NP a decent shooter.Who knows what can be done with this mystery gun!-Whirly

Did you say (R Made in China)? Would that make it a refurb?
Quote from: avator on August 15, 2017, 07:31:41 AMDid you say (R Made in China)? Would that make it a refurb? That's a very good question. The "R" looks like part of the original marking on the gun, and as far as I could tell, the gun had never been fired, or even taken out of its box before. It shows no wear or tool marks or anything else that would indicate that it is a refurb.
I watched your video, and the first thing I thought I saw was barrel droop. I have worked on probably an earlier version(barrel and front sight are the same). That breech seal can be replaced with an o ring of compatible size. You may have to even shim it a bit with a wrap of dental floss under it. Do a tissue test over the breech, to tell if it's leaking. A lube tune and deburr will certainly help, gives you an idea whats going on inside. The one I had used a synthetic piston seal that was boogered up from not deburring.Good luck

This is my first video-review, and my camera-person consisted of a cardboard box on a table.-Whirly
