Decided to push a pellet through the barrel. Mine goes from extremely tight at the breech, to loose until it hits the choke. Is the tight section at the breech something that will mess up accuracy. Takes alot off force to get it going.
How large are your groups over what distance and with how many shots? What do YOU consider a good group?[/qQuote from: Roadworthy on August 01, 2017, 02:54:31 PMHow large are your groups over what distance and with how many shots? What do YOU consider a good group?Hoping it's just the scope being over adjusted to compensate for the high shooting. Then I can starting trying to figure out if it's a lockup problem or if I need to bend the barrel down. The hw97k will dang near one hole them at 25 yds and can be covered with a dime at 30 if I do my part. B26 same distance maybe 2"+ on Saturday. Quote from: Artie on August 01, 2017, 02:34:23 PMShow some pics of your groups and provide the distance to target. I do not compete and may have a more liberal concept of "tight" groups. Could be "moa" means "minute of angle" to you. To me it means "minute of acceptable".Wouldn't dare shoot at any animal with it right now maybe at 10 yds on a good day but 20 yds it's just bad. Could just be the scope being over adjusted and I'm hoping that's it. But even then I would have to figure out why it's shooting that high that I need to adjust the scope to extremes. Won't know until I can get to the range again.

I shot my HW98 .177 this morning, .40" paintballs on a golf tee @ 32 yards. Averaged about 80% hits, if I missed it was me. The full tuned B26 .177 I HAD couldn't do that, that's why I sold it.
