But you folks are already talking about bag magazines and it sounds like that is acceptable(?).
I have been watching you all with the "Snow Peak" "SPA" air guns by Shaoxing. While they do look VERY tempting, The website has VERY little detailed info... I will let you be the Guinea Pigs.In a year, lets see how it pans out, then I will fork over my money. Consider this, 2 years ago all the hype was on Hatsan model 95. Everyone was all a fluff about what a great gun for the money. I bought one and was never so disappointed in my life. Then the truth came out. Most peoples ecstatic admiration turned into dismal reviews. Don't get me wrong, I believe the Chinese are ramping it up... My SAG (Beeeman) AR2078B is WELL worth the money I spent. But you folks are already talking about bag magazines and it sounds like that is acceptable(?). I just want to stand back and see how this holds out in the near future once all the novelty wears off.OK... Flame on... I have my asbestos underwear on.

I just got the 0.25 in AT44 so probably should not get another 0.25, should I?I am trying to get my 14 year old son to shoot, so something light and easy enough and no fuss for him to enjoy would be good. Sometimes I am thinking a pistol maybe better but not so sure.Well, I have 4 .25s and even more .22s, but I seem to grab a .25 whenever there is a critter involved, so I dunno if you can have TOO many .25s..That said, .22 ammo is cheaper, and there are a lot of superheavy .22s around now, so a 42 fpe .22 Dominator would be another fine option, I'd think, especially if you and the boy plan on doing a lotta plinking. Of course, a .25 makes a heckuva hole and thwack ina beverage can, soo, no doubt about hits'n'misses, lol..There isn't likely a 'wrong' choice, hun, just preferences, and hey, those can change over time, for sure. Once upon a time I had no use for anything but light .177s, but now? I hardly even bother with anything smaller than .22..

You must be Texan-bigger is better. For home plinking, .177 is preferred. I like to use break barrel for this, it is more challenging and cost less, and a good workout. I have stock piled more than 20000 .177 pellets. But for hunting big pellets are better, more humane, big pellets carry energy further and allow longer distance kills.I will probably get a pistol or a short rife at .22 for hunting and plinking.Quote from: :-) chickie on August 15, 2017, 06:47:15 PMQuote from: Wolverineshooter on August 15, 2017, 12:11:41 PM5lbs is impressive. You got too many, shall I say. I am sure some of them never got used and forgotten.I am glad I resisted temptation to get the Gauntlet. I shall stick with my plan for a lighter gun.
Wow, that is a large supporting group, I am sure that will keep you going. I find selling used air guns difficult. I never did it myself but I did see Craigslist ads hanging on there forever.
I hope to buy a HT44 because all the good feedback here.
I just pre-ordered the Stormrider versions in both .177 and .22, lol. For the extra $20 over Mrodair, it will be nice to have support and the latest production versions, as well...:-) chickie

Curious to see if Diana put their own twist on them someway or other...!

If it happens at all... lots of folks waiting on a Gauntlet.
Do you think the new version will have "improvements" such as using plastics to cut cost?
