I bought this rifle at a Gunshow in Dayton Ohio in the Late 90's Early 00's for $375.
I didn't really know what it was, but the guy that I bought it from was a Firearms dealer that I knew and trusted. He said that it would shoot as accurately as I could hold it, and he was not wrong.
I used the rifle for years as a practice rifle for diagnosing faults in my hold and trigger control for NRA High Power shooting.
My good friend and squaddie had bought an Anschutz 2001 SSP, so I had to keep up.
While the IZH is not as refined as the Anschutz, it gives up NADA to it on the bench, it will put the pellet precisely where you put the cross hairs. My problem is keeping the crosshairs where I want them to be........
Hope that you enjoy the pics, there does not seem to be much on the web about these rifles, and very few pics to peruse.

Some more infobits that I forgot to include in the original post.
When bought, the rifle came with a ZOMZ 3-9x39 scope mounted in throw lever quick detach rings.
The scope had a German post reticle that increased in size with magnification, no parallax adjustment, and an adjustable ocular lens.
The scope was OK, but getting it to focus right, and dealing with the reticle was somewhat of a pain, so it got switched out for RPA match sights right after purchase to keep in line with the Palma sights that I used on my match rifle for NRA competition.
You guessed it, I lost one of the rings somehow, so it got rekitted with an RWS C mount and a 3-9 RWS scope for duty off of the bench since I no longer shoot NRA matches nor do I do position practice either.
I still have the ZOMZ scope sitting around as a curiousity.
