Help! I took the handle of the Hy Score 800 I bought at Findlay when I decided to try to touch up the rust spots on it. The trigger spring fell out before I realized it existed and I am not sure how to reinstall it. I've searched the internet for pictures and diagrams but none thus far have given any clue. I get the impression there are a couple variations of the spring design though.
Anyways, I was hoping someone could either take well lit clear shots down into their grip that shows the spring or maybe someone was successful in disassembling and reassembling one and could show us how it goes?
Any help is much appreciated! Thank you!

A while back I needed to install one of these and found this from an old post on the AVA:
"What you have is a little spring that sort of looks like a clothes pin spring. The closed part of the spring slides into a groove in the front of the handle. The little loops will point upwards. The short leg with the "L" bend will press on the left side of the trigger blade acting as a trigger return spring. The longer leg with the "L" bend will act upon the right side of the striker leaves, pushing them forward in their oval shaped holes acting as a striker return spring. Both of these legs will point upwards when looking down inside the cocked pistol. Be careful not to trip the sear as this re-assembly operation is more easily performed with the action open and cocked."
I'm quite sure I removed the barrel assembly when fiddling with the spring, for easier access and better visibility.
Good luck,
Don R.

Thank you Oldair! I'd found a similar but less specific and detailed description on AVA a bit before you posted that still had me head scratching. Yours gave enough details to help guide me to the correct installation and reassembling.
I've attached some photos for anyone who may also disassemble an earlier Hy Score 800 in the future.
First one shows where the spring sits in the handle. The second tries to show how the shorter bit hits the back edge of the trigger and the longer right one hits the three sear plates. Once you kinda angle/wiggle the seat plates between the two L legs, they should fall into place. You'll notice the trigger has a bit of a cut out near the top on the right side to accommodate the longer leg.
Mine seems to be an earlier production based on this, no scroll marks and I believe a metal piston seal (although it is hard to tell for sure). Serial number 802102.
