I can attest to the last pellets working excellent in my .177 hatsan AT44 PA, this one time on a real calm range day I did 1 moa at 200 with the Seneca's of the era, still have some
Quick question regarding the barrel...Hatsan seems to be phasing out the BT65 series, was thinking of acquiring a second .177 barrel, mostly for slug use. I've seen some success with OEM barrels and slugs, but with out the gun in hand I won't know if it would like (NSA) slugs or not. Ordered 12.5's, 15's and 20.5 grain slugs to test.Looking to get a slug barrel and need specs, barrel O.D. and twist being the big factors. This is a QE version, don't know if it matters. All this is a bit academic at the moment, But would like to have it together by fall the latest. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated in the build. Of course I'll try the factory barrel, but not holding my breath for great results. Read of one person using a slug liner within the QE shroud, using rubber bushings to stabilize, not sure how it worked in the long run. Suggestions for a specific TJ or L/W barrel would help a bunch.Alternatively, I could run JSB 13.4's, 16.2's or Seneca 16.1's, if they fit the mag. Looking to do a higher fpe (28+) build if possible (on regulator). If it's not worth it please share your opinion before I go further down the rabbit hole. Lol.
