Betty lou runs the TV 24/7. There are 3 in the house and 2 in the RV. And she is addicted to facebook slot games. If any of it goes out she's climbing the walls. She sleeps with those murder murder kill kill shows on all night..... it's kinda scary...
Each to their own,...but I have never been attracted to "murder, murder, kill, kill" shows or movies. I get enough of a dose with watching the local and national news each evening. I mean really,.. some of the news stuff you could not make up. Then,... a year or so later they make a dedicated show about it. I liken it a bit to the shootem' up video games,.... ya' just get numb to it.As I said, each to their own.

No limits.BillIs that fiber optic service thru AT&T. I have either cable internet or dish/direct-universe here available to me and as stated before if it is a AT&T affiliated service its not coming in my house. Yes its fast and does not go out in bad weather but they jacked us up on phone bill years ago and would not make it right so shame on them cause they lost my business for life. I am just hard headed that way and there are many companies I do not do business with anymore to this day for the same reasons. My cable internet is fast and excellent service free of charge so no complaints in 25 years. cannot get Hughes.ner or spectrum or any other cable provider here since it is locked up by cableone/sparklight/hargray.BDNo, this is Troy Cablevision. We had Dish but I couldn't get them out of here fast enough. It rains alot here and everytime it did we lost service. I realize even cable run on satellites some where but they seem to get a stable signal where they are. It pixels a little now and then in bad weather but nothing like Dish was. I don't even lose internet when it happens..... it ain't cheap though... Betty Lou is 'stay at home'. She requires TV, Internet and Phone.

I live 10 miles from the closest small town and for years I have used cellular hotspots I got off eBay with the "unlimited" yada yada. Started with one that was connecting through AT&T for $70 per month. Lasted about 2 years then they shut it off. Switched to a similar one off eBay that is through Verizon for $50 per month and supposedly can use up to 60 GB per month without any problems. Liked it so much after 2 months I got another one for the wife. No issues so far, and 2-12 MBs speeds out in the woods. We also use unlocked phones and have our regular cell phone plans through Cricket, unlimited everything for $90 per month for the pair, and I can put my phone in a window and use PdaNet or EasyTether and that works fine as well.
We have frontier DSL, about 5mbs, enought for some downloading. We dont have TV at all. Our monitor is hooked up to the PC so we only watch a movie a month or so. We read or surf on forums that interest us, the test of the time we work on hobbies.Music is always on in the background.
That was me. Paying for 3.0 Mbps and was lucky to ever get 2. I could function with 1.0 believe it or not. Last month it dropped to 0.3, 0.2,0.1, 0.0,.... no joke. 3 "service calls". Never saw a single person. Nothing fixed.I was told that the area is considered "permanently exhausted" and nothing will be done unless the substation gets a complete upgrade. No plans for that. Very rural out my way.I finally went to a wi-fi hot spot device through Verizon. My existing phone was upgraded to 15 GB hot spot and the device is 30 GB per 30 days. (had to do the phone per the plan. I will never/rarely use the phone hot spot. I use it for calling people, not like most people use their phones)At any rate,... for the phone and internet, I am paying $15 more than I was. (80 vs 95)I am not very tech. savvy and feel pretty stupid I did not switch sooner. It works perfect and looks to get 7.0 Mbps. I guess 12 is about as good as it gets. 6 GB used of 30 with 12 of 30 days left. It is no bigger than a small cell phone. Does not cord to the computer, but can. Recharges with the supplied AC cord. Works off of cell towers, same as your phone.So,... if you have been dumb like me,... give the DSL/landline the boot. Just some FYI for my GTA mates.
