I'm looking to buy this one from AEA.
Hard to beat a Storm .30 out da box
Over all the Gun looks great and arrived fast. One issue is no big deal. A broken cocking handle which is a plastic part easy to replace with a metal part.Issue two has me EXTREMELY PEED OFF!The fill probe will not seal!! I changed the o-rings with the extras. No go.Tried o-rings from all my extra stuff. NO GO!!!Not very happy right now! A brand new Gun and dumb garbage like this?hey!!! AEA U.S.?
Dan I know exactly what Jeff is talking about, the probe on mine actually wobbles back and forth inside the fill probe tube, it's obviously not sized right at all. That number is who I called about the order that I put in for that HP model and he claims that he's not the vendor of AEA Airguns USA That place that I bought mine came from Florida too and from what I"ve been seeing that's the only distributor of AEA out of Florida. He don't seem to be too up front about distributors in my opinion. That is the same place that I ordered mine from. https://www.aeaairgunus.com/
Dan if a person asked me which China built pcp airguns are the most trouble free my answer would be the Xisico PCP's. I admit they're much simpler than most of them however they do have an excellent fit/finish and out of the five that I have they absolutely never leak. Right now Mike@FDAR does have some in stock and they're the carbines (in .177 & .22) and the rifles (.177 & .25). I use to be a big fan of the PEAK stuff but not so much anymore because they're another mfg that seems to rush all their stuff through with poor QC. DAR has to be one of the worst I think with tons of problems with them. I'll have to get hold of DAR again because they promised me a part for my Gen2 about 3 months ago and haven't heard zilch from them since concerning a defective valve body. AEA Challenger's seem to be a really decent gun in my case with no real problems at all yet, probably my only complaint would be the terrible fill probe that it came with, it really would be nice if they addressed that problem. For the fit and finish the Challenger would be right up there, the stock on mine is basically flawless as are the metal parts with exception of the probe. You ain't going to find a better deal on a big bore I don't think.
