I'm thinking about it. it's a shame that all pcp pistols look like klingon disrupters though
It’s ugly but shoots well
$ for $ The Bandit is better deal than the P-rod. IMO
I've been looking at the Bandit for about a year now. They were sold out everywhere, so I didn't really have to decide. Now that it's back in stock I decided not to wait any longer and ordered one today.
Just curious, but has anyone here gotten the regulator optional install from Pyramid for $30?
That regulator install does not include the price of the regulator kit, which runs another $100. Getting that and having it installed brings the final price up to almost double the price of the pistol alone.
Also with only a 50cc air tank running a regulator on the bandit ends up lowering FPS by about 100 without radically improving anything enough to justify the cost. Without major modifications like putting a big tank on it to get hundreds of shots it's only a 30 or 40 shot pistol. Yes a regulator would give you around 20 or so mid 500 fps shots at approximately the same pressure for perhaps a little better accuracy without having to do any aiming compensation in your head but unless you're competition target shooting it doesn't make logical sense to regulate something that small. It's only a sub $200 pistol not a competition target shooter
