A friend recently gave me an old Sheridan that was inoperable. I always thought they were a cool gun. I took it for a blue streak. When I looked around online none of the diagrams matched up. I finally stumbled onto U.J. Backus’ registry and realized I had been given a supergrade. With UJ’s help I have it pumping up and shooting. It’s in great shape for a gun that’s been in the closet for a few decades. Problem is it’s missing the blade of the front sight, and only the base of the rear sight remains. UJ has kindly provided me dimensions of the missing parts. Before I go down that road I thought I would reach out to see if anyone knows the whereabouts of these items. The gun is gorgeous and I’m sure anyone reading this post is amazed at my good fortune.
