OK... to be quite honest I saw the topic and read the first page, but want to keep up with the posts.Jimbo.... Ain't it Grand that our state is now allowing airguns!BUT... check out the fine print. Requires some serious FT/LBS that only a few can claim, let alone prove if the DNR should test you.*EDIT* I now see you know that
I think I'm gonna get the aea .50 cal when it comes in and a 98 cu. ft. carbon fiber tank. I have a dive shop that will fill it. Then all I'll need is a scope and bullets, and I still have my 90 cu. in. carbon fiber tank too. From what I've been reading I think this should put me in good shape?
Well I went and did it, ordered yet another AEA gun. This time I got the AEA standard Challenger in 30 cal and also ordered the pellet mold for it from NOE. Gun was $389 shipped and the mold was $103 shipped. The thing that I'm looking forward to on this Challenger is the power adjustment, my .357 doesn't have that. Also I watched this video this morning of a Michigan airgunner shooting a white tail with his AEA 357 Challenger
Dan it only took three days from my 30 cal challenger to get here from Bin, it shipped from Mass in 3 days but he already had it in stock. I'm seasoning the pellet mold for it right now.
Well I finally made up my mind, I ordered the Challenger standard rifle in 50. caliber and the Bintac compressor. I don't intend to shoot a crazy amount so hopefully that compressor will hold up.
