The HP shoot more than well enough to warrant testing further out. I also have the 68 grain flat point mould that's been decked so there is no boat tail that drops @ 50 or so grains. That also shoots a little better than the hollow point.I can't wait to see what the build will look and how it will perform!
I’ll be watching this thread, I just picked up a mk2 with power plenum...
Oh...Yemx...how do I count the ways?LOL
I should have said that the groups are bigger than a hole in hole group but a tight clover leaf group. No the mould is unaltered. The 50 grain from the decked mould feed just fine as I am using a split port. With the stock brass I had feeding issues with feeding. Even some JSB pellets got damaged as the port on my brass piece had an oval port from the factory.
300-68-FN-BI3 2 Cavity BT has been decked. The 300-68-FN-BI3 2 Cavity RG2 BT has not been decked.
Yemx, you’re a bad influence.
Someone posted a barrel kit on the classifieds on AGN so I couldn’t pass it up for $325, plus some pellets thrown in.
I too am in the early phases of .300 68gr BBT testing with a 1:26 TJ's barrel, but only 24" long. Still working out the tune. Old school 7/8 tube gun so only about 140cc of air to work with. Energy is no challenge for this one, but of course shot count is. If i'm happy with it I may set up a brod with same barrel/valve/porting specs. It will be interesting to compare notes on velocities/accuracy.

I would LOVE to compare numbers w/a Brod- I'm thinking the Brod will be more consistent and can run at a lower pressure for a given velocity due to the larger plenum... There shouldn't be too much of a difference in accuracy, as the barrel and projectile will be the same. I think that'll be fun to compare/contrast the two platforms!!
