The Mourning Doves were great in Gumbo (Cajun Meat Soup). The Eurasian Collared Doves are just as good like that too.I had a Squirrel Gumbo in which I included a Collared Dove. I could find nothing wrong with it (or the squirrels either.)
Crock pot! Can of cream of celery soup, lots of onions, some green pepper, garlic salt, couple strips of bacon...
I was looking at the hunting regulations and I was wondering if the Eurasian Collared Doves were good eating like mourning doves?Any of you guys out there find them good to eat?
