Still a few G-Hogs around, but not nearly as many as there used to be.
Don't see many close to the house any more, have to roam farther out into the fields normally to find them these days.
But I spotted this one in the barnyard this morning when going out to get the mail. He ran to and went down a hole so I went and got my .25 SynRod and watched and about 5 minutes later he stuck his head up for the last time!
It was about a 40yd shot with the .25 SynRod and a 6-24X56 Optisan Viper scope at 12 power shooting the 34gr JSB MKII's at about 860fps.
The POI looks a little off from where I was aiming but it sure got the job done as he only had his head sticking out of the hole and he still didn't make it down!

Way to go Jim! The G-hog was DRT so it was still a great shot at 40yds.
Your Synrod is putting out a lot of power! I have mine set for 860fps too but with JSB Kings. It's bone stock though. If you are noticing the POI shifting off and on check the pressure gauge. It may have a slow leak. My Mrod .25 started having POI shifts after 3 years of being a 1-hole gun at 25-30yds, and I noticed the pressure in the tank was several hundred psi lower the next day after a fresh fill.
