Title: What does the 10 + X mean.
Post by: bearded1dr on May 15, 2020, 08:05:37 PM
The scoring says if you punch out the center ring you get a ten plus and X. I don't understand that.  What is the point of the X? How do I score the X?

10 is a 10.  You just record X for clean inside 10 ring.  Used for tie determination.

I don't think that ever happened to me before.

This should explain. X would be clean inside the 10X ring. As opposed to the 10 non X that is shown.

Thanks. I was just curious the meaning of the X. I didn't know if it was like a strike in bowling and had an impact on the score or just an addition mark that would be used in a tie.

Let's say 2 shooters have perfect 200 point targets, the one with the highest "X" count would win.
