Title: Slavia 630 rear trigger guard screw
Post by: CZshooter on January 15, 2019, 11:03:55 PM
Anyone know of a source for the rear trigger screw... and spare piston seals as well?  I called CZ (USA) and they have nothing available.
Thanks!
Danny

Danny,

There are some posts about Slavia seals on this forum.

I found some of them, but have not exhausted the search:

You might have a look at TW Chambers. They carry spare parts for a few of the CZ guns. Not a clue if some use the same parts but you might get lucky:

A personal foible of mine is that I like socket head screws on all my guns.  I just took a glance at my 631, and sure enough - at some point in the past I had replaced that rear mounting screw with a black alloy socket head cap screw.  That means I got the screw at the local hardware store.  Take yours to the store and I'll bet you can match it.  I don't mean a home improvement store, where they only have a few SAE sizes in poly bags.  I mean a real hardware store, where they have little drawers full of stuff, both SAE and metric.

That screw is the same for both the 630 and 631.

Rear guard screw is part number B1592

Both Ace and Valu have a boatload of stuff in their hardware aisles and where I've been able to match up almost everything I've wanted to replace and I'm like you and replace with allen head screws as they're just easier to get on and off and not worry about stripping a phillips head.

Exactly.  Plus, I have one of those jacknife-style hex key sets in my range box, and I can tighten almost anything in my collection.  Another quirk of mine is that I dislike wood screws on a gun.  I replace them with brass wood anchors and machine screws.

But, back to the Slavia - a good hardware store will probably have it.

I have purchased piston seals, breach seals and even main springs for the 630 from here.
