I purchased a youth sized springer manufacrured in Japan by Shinbishi (S.A.R.)
It was different, and I like different.
The mainspring has a bit of a bend to it, but I may try to get by with it.
Pretty much cleaned it up, but it is in need of a piston seal.
It appears to just be a leather washer, maybe about 3/16" thick.
Can it be that simple??
It also needs a TP seal...
I may be making both parts.
It cocks and fires, but will not even expell a dart......I figger the TP seal to be the worst culprit.

You can lead a man to water, but you can't keep him from urinating in it.

Depending on the style, this may help, there are other videos, did one when I was about 12 on an old break barrel, with some airgun magazine directions.

That's pretty cool!!
The S.A.R. appears to have just a flat washer...no cup.
