The Vortex piston is air. There is never a need to replace it. If a seal in it is bad it can be rebuilt and pumped back up with air. 125 Bar is standard and 150 bar is max allowed. How do you know it's the piston itself and not the piston seal gone bad? There are a ton of posts where people think they need a new piston or spring when in reality it's just the seal. The guns are notorious for poor Quality Assurance. Metal filings in piston housing and metal burrs on all cuts. Deburr the cocking arm slot, clean the housing completely and replace seal. Dab of moly around new seal. Usually all anyone needs. If indeed your Vortex ram sprung a leak then look about the forum on how to disassemble and rebuild. I know you only need the fill probe from Hatsan to attach to hill pump to fill it up again. 125-135 bar is where you want to be. The only thing I know is that I can cock it with 2 fingers.
I used their support 2x to repairriflesunder warranty. I DID fill out the form first & contacted them. Firearm was repaired & returned as quickly as with any other I have used.
