Third Time Could Be a Charm with the .22 Hatsan 95 Vortex?

Today my third .22 Hatsan 95 Vortex arrived at the house. Seeing that my first two endeavors with new models had failed, I decided to go a different route and order a refurb from Hatsan USA. My wife thinks she's living with a lunatic now, having experienced 2 failures with this brand unit and then to go for another of the same and pay a little more for a slightly used model with less of a warranty. I probably should have quit after #2 but I like the looks of the gun with it's Turkish walnut stock and all. In the box, included was an inspection slip signed by someone named Larry who promised that he checked out several different aspects of the mechanics in the gun. He said that everything worked fine and that is part of the reason I decided to go with a refurb this time.
Anyways first thing out of the box, I gave the barrel a good cleaning with some Ballistol. Took out a lot of "brown crud" while doing that chore. Then I started shooting to season the barrel and see what the chrony had to say for a baseline. After 70 rounds and finishing with the H&N Field Trophy pellet at 14.66gr, I was averaging 760FPS for the last 10 shots. Not too shabby for first time out, but the jury is still out regarding accuracy. My backyard target is about 25 yds out and I'm willing to wait and see if this thing shoots a little straighter than it is doing at present.
I'm looking forward to a long and trouble free relationship with this gun. I sure hope it turns out that way. I'll keep ya posted.

I know this is a few months old, but I also went with a refurbished 95 springer model in .177. Found it at Wing Supply and it too was checked/ok'd by Larry. It arrived in fine condition(factory box inside an unmarked protective box) and having paid less than $90 American was around 55-60% off retail from what I was seeing, plus no tax and free shipping to me, which saved me even more. I am very pleased with how the rifle is doing so far, but I have less than 100 rds in it so far.
