Apparently, MAC-1 Secret Sauce is out of stock. Is there a runner up you could suggest?
Goose, the fork oil is probably safe, but be careful with which gear oil you use. EP additives in gear oils can attack yellow metals. It's more prevalent with higher temperatures, however you shouldn't take a chance with your vintage baby. They make gear lubes that are specifically yellow metal safe. Learned this (not the hard way) when refurbishing a vintage Electrolux floor buffer gear box. Please don't ask why I was refurbishing the buffer!!
Thanks to all GTA members that knowingly and unknowingly helped me through the cleaning and resealing of this Crosman Model 102. No leak through the barrel and held charge overnight. Have a chronograph coming in later this week and will list results after delivery. I did have a pellet feeding problem that required a slight straightening of the separator spring. It appeared someone put a bend in it that didn't allow it to raise high enough to allow a pellet travel past the tang. Also put a minor bevel and polished the cross feed assembly port due to the rough edge of the pellet entry side.
