You are correct - any gun's line-of-sight is determined by the trajectory at a given combo of gun/ammo/distance, and the height of the front sight above the bore. Any rear iron sight - whether open or peep or where it sits on the gun - is just a gizmo that lines your eyeball up with this. There were two recent threads here on the Tech Sight:https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=190140.0https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=190358.0Note the model discussed is for Remington and not CZ, but grooves may be the same, I don't know. To be honest I haven't had much luck with it, but I am definitely the exception to the rule.
It’s no surprise that someone on this forum found this great sight before I stumbled upon it. It’s an even smaller surprise that it was Ron hehe.
Love the tech sight - but not with a hooded front. My eye wants to align the two circles instead of the blade. Too bad there isn’t an open blade option for the front. I’ve mounted it onto my modded 1322’s steel breech. The front sight that came with the unit is amazing and I’ll be able to mount it on the LDC or onto the barrel itself with some nice epoxy.
