Hmmm... ya reckon that barrel wasn't soldered back straight?I probably wouldn't be too happy about that after paying a professional.
Very nice 312 you have there.Tell me about the black hand guard on it if you can, looks like a fitted piece of fuel hose maybe... or?
Those front blades can be tapped left or right to make up some of it.
aim right?
I have a 312 that shoots to the left also and I can't see that the barrel (which I'm shure has never been resoldered) is not off very much. I think it has kink in the very end although I can't see that either. It is very accurate, so I don't want to mess with it and use a scout scope with a mount I made for it. Can you just file longer windage slots in the 273 sight, Richard
Just checked my 312 with the 273 sight. Mine is moved to the right about as far as it will go and looks like the sight is pretty well centered on the barrel somewhat to the right. My rifle shoots fine I wonder if the sight may have evolved over the years and has minimized adjustability. Looking at the sight I would file the slot all the way out. The bolt is pan headed and will still hold the sight. Jim

Made me wonder about the political bent of the guys on the production line back then... Ride on,J~
