I wasn't able to get the fellow Phil recommended on the phone; but, while the lady I talked to said it might be as long as 2 weeks before the barrel is shipped to me that it will be worth the wait. Apparently, there is an increase in demand for those barrels. In the meantime, I'll be testing the .22 Disco SE barrel.Whose adapter (1/2x20) did u buy…thanks

Yeah, I personally don't care for the tactical looking mods on these 362 guns but I get the 'tinkering factor'. I love turning inexpensive guns into something of my own as I did with both of ours in .177, one 18" barrel and one 21" barrel. But, one of the main attractions to this gun for me was the traditional stock they came with.To each their own.

It would need to improve to 18 fpe.I would call it a steroid based on the 32 layers of cardboard the .177 penetrated versus the 20+/- layers of cardboard the OEM .22 penetrated and it is to my understanding the fps/fpe of the .22 OEM 362 with the 24 inch barrel at 12 pumps can be as high as 760 fps with 14.3 gr. There's your 18 fpe right there.

The 700$ gun the other company has will do it.21 to 24 inch barrel may not gain hardly anything in .22 caliber considering the small valve size of 2.0 cc.I think .177 goes further in cardboard because of its size , same as .25 will go less than .22 .
The power is all very well. And power sells. But I don’t buy guns that don’t appeal to me aesthetically. There are lots of powerful guns on the market. Why should I buy this one? The look will appeal to some but I prefer the look and feel of a steel and hardwood gun. Put a nice wood stock on it and I’ll buy one!
well I do deal in theoretical... educated by experience having fun building pumpers and a bit of math...and Bobs post here fill in the gaps very well...just with a stock .1 ci valve My 362-17 long(Maximus barrel) hits peak power (8 pumps) with 13.4g Monster at 14.3 fpe at just under 700 fps... The Seneca 16.g are just a bit over weigh and output drops to 13.5 fpe... over-pumping to 10 pumps well that gets them to 657 fps/15.4 fpe... Crosman engineers have stated the 362 uses a 13xx valve...volume mods can enlarge the modded stock valve to about 30% more volume...some mild flow mods will help also... with a .13 ci valve ten pump will be about 100 psi less than the stock valve at 8 pumps... 11 pumps will be about 100 psi over... 12 pumps probably about 225 psi... So yep 18 fpe on 12 pumps looks to be very possable even at 16g in .177... .22 will be bout /20+ fpe if all is done well... and that is with a pump cup not flat top piston and valve... Strain on the rifle will be very near the same as stock at 11 pumps..

Sometimes one has to speculate because you can’t build everything to test it out.I guess a 392 could make 600 fps on two pumps but can’t say with certainty because I haven’t tried.I could be wrong. I thought a 392 could make 50 fpe in theory but when I attempted it, I only managed 45 fpe. I can see even more power than 20 fpe in the 362 . Hammer strike and valve size will be the limiting factors as I see it. If someone builds up one more powerful than mine, I may take up the challenge.
Pretty interesting to read what some guys are getting out of these pumpers but I'll never over pump my guns. Thanks for the sacrifice...
