Found this mentioned on another forum. From what was posted, it would appear Norica licensed this from a company called ZRS Systems whoshowed it off way back at the 2019 IWS Show only on the Cometa stand. Here's the pic posted, not mine and all credit to the gentleman on AGWwho posted it for me to borrow...lol.
Moved to the Gamo & Spanish Gate.
Sorry, I forgot there was a Spanish gate. -Marty
I was curious what happens with the trigger when the shot releases.
Quote from: DanD on January 12, 2022, 01:11:26 PMI was curious what happens with the trigger when the shot releases. From the Patent filing "Increased accuracy by allowing to distance the trigger from the shooter's finger after the trigger has been pulled"
So, essentially, what they mean by aluminum compression chamber is simply the chassis part, which internally houses a standard cylindrical compression tube/action assembly that is all made of steel?

I dug up this old image on HAM from the IWA show at this link: https://hardairmagazine.com/news/lets-look-at-some-iwa-international-exhibitors/"Aluminum frame and delrin parts"-Marty
One thing that is quite interesting is that ZRS used to collaborate with cometa. And now they've collaborated with norica. Also with the older prototypes, it was obvious that the whole thing was just a chassis system with a regular break barrel action built into it. In the new version the only part that protrudes is the barrel block. The rest of the action is tucked away withing the upper part of the chassis.I got a bit disappointed because what I had understood before reading here was that the rifle uses an aluminum made compression "cylinder" without anything extra inside it. Not that it was actually a chassis. Nevertheless, the whole chassis system seems to be an interesting idea. I'm wondering whether the internal action/compression tube-barrel assembly will be worthwhile or not.
I agree on that. It's refreshing to see something new that is springer related. It seems like a promising rifle. Fingers crossed we'll know how it really performs soon. Also, it seems that aside from the chassis, the internal cylinder is also aluminum?

His name is Jose and a link to the thread he posted in:https://airgunwarriors.com/community/airgun-talk/will-there-ever-be-a-new-model-springer-that-is-better-than-the-old-ones/paged/4/#post-53798Maybe Travis and Rick can convince him to join the forum since AGW managed to...lol.
