At my income level $4000 is a new car. I bought my current F250 SD 4x4 with 86,000 miles for 4200 bucks 9 years ago. She is about dead and from what I am told worth 5500. LOL go figure. I remember the first and only car I ever bought brand new. 1999 ford zx2 for $10,700 cash out the door. Broke down cars are selling for 8500 in my area. Nothing you want to put the wife in to drive is going for less than 15k Might better fix the one we know. It not worthy but what can you do.
