Thanks Wayne,I knew you really like your sl .22, so that was also influencing my final decision. The main reason I concidered a .30 cal was MS now allows airgun hunting for deer on private land.A call to the MWD confirmed it is now legal.I can order a big bore later when they’re back in stock if I get the urge to hunt deer with an airgun. To tell the truth I may well do that at some point as I have’nt fired my pb guns in over four years now since getting into airgunning.Hunting with air power has ruined me lol
I’ve been eyeing the 22 as well. How many “good” shots out to 50 yards from a 3500 psi fill can you get? Ones that will stay in a 1” group. The challengers seem to have a descending shot curve which worries me about getting many good shots.
Ordered it today from Bin at the “pellet shop”. This will be my first(only ?) pcp gun.I was really torn between a .30 cal. or a .22.They sold out of the .30 and .35 cal. in the standard 24” recently, so that made the decision easier lol. If I like the .22 as much as I think I will, I can always get a .30 or .35 cal. When their back in stock. Got to get a hand pump for starters to fill it with. I know it’s going to be a workout for sure.Lol, i’m In good shape for my age and plenty strong enough to pump it, but lol... don’t if i’m packing enough physical weight to pump it up fully. There will be a lot of “firsts” for me getting into this pcp thing, but should be a fun journey.Sheesh! I just realized... got to get a new chronograph too as my old one gave up the ghost!

I'm interested in your thoughts. My next is a Seneca Tiger Claw or a Challenger bullpup in .22. Can't decide, need some info from those that know.
Buddy if you're planning on shooting commercial slugs with that I'd go with AVS slugs @ .218 diameter, Shephen has them slugs he swages down to a science. If I was going to order slugs from him I'd get the cup point with dished base on them. If the molds ever become available for the slugs I shoot I highly recommendthat mold for high speed slug shooting.

On full power I'm getting 24 good shots from mine with slugs, with pellets you could get a lot more. If I was going to start shooting pellets I'd probably buy a different hammer spring for mine but I doubt I'll ever use anything but slugs in mine.

Can you buy extra springs from BIN or any other distributor? Maybe a stock one could be cut down? What county in Michigan are you from? Livingston here.
Don’t know much about pcp compressors. Will a vevor 39mpa 4500 psi be a good one for my challenger?I’ll be ordering a hand pump too.
Buddy keep us updated please, I'm seriously considering that gun,
Not being regulated and the cocking are my main concerns. Wayne said the cocking isn't bad and I believe him but I'm still Leary because I had the xisico 702 and it was tough on the fingers so I sold it.I'm also looking at the Seneca Eagle Claw .22.
