Basically getting tired of the barrel band coming loose and changing POI. I have read about this in various places on the internet. The solution seems to be to remove it. This solution makes zero, nada and nilch sense to me. If the barrel is easily bumped or shifted to one side when the band is loose how on earth is it going to stay put with no band present at all? I don’t get that.

Check the grub screws holding the barrel into the block, they may have backed off some. I have done a fair amount of work to my urban and do not use a barrel band. Seems just as solid as my bsa guns that came without from the factory.
