I use a one piece mount on my TX 200 as a one piece provides better protection for the scope. The one piece mount will help prevent scope flex. The Hawke scope may have a lifetime warranty but I prefer not to needlessly ship scopes back and forth.
The 1-piece BKL is not built for scopes with a fat underbelly.I have seen some people mill theirs to accommodate the aforesaid.Gonna measure mine and get back to you.
Shoot, I no longer have it, sorry I think I sold it to a friend of mine.Went to my hobby room just now and could not find it, my apologies
When you get your Hawke scope and BKL mount you will know what I mean.. . . . . . . . . .Even with the washboard tummy of my Elite's turret casing it almost osculates the mount's base.
