Well, mine just held up to 9 or 10 shots on a Hatsan 125, so, you know, total confidence.... ha ha

Well, I got another 20-25 shots through the 125 this week and the scope is still good.
I really need to get it off that Hatsan 125 though...

I've killed quite a few low end scopes. Most lasted at least 100 shots before problems appeared. Almost all were the scope included in the purchase. The CenterPoint and Hatsan combo scopes were a joke. Actually the only "good" scope I ever received that came with a rifle purchase was the Browning 3x9 that came on my Browning Leverage.
I've had pretty good luck with Hammers scopes, if you keep your receipt they'll send you a new scope for a $10 fee and if you don't have a receipt you can mail your scope to them along with a $10 MO and you'll get a new scope.
I've noticed the CV line of scopes on Amazon but I've been spoiled by the clarity of Hawke scopes not to mention their excellent warranty so I would probably go with them.

Same here! While the Hawke scopes I've used aren't the "best available" they are good enough, hold up to my recoiling springers and have really good customer service when needed. The Hawke I'm currently using is the Hawke 4-16x44 Airmax 30 SF Compact Riflescope retailing for about $390.
