That L shaped bracket is from the Model 95 and used to hold the front of the trigger pack. You do not need one for the Striker wood stock, just set the rifle in and install your stock screws.I've upgraded a couple and that bracket isn't needed since the trigger pack actually attaches to the bottom of the receiver.
Steve do you think that a striker 1000s could fit in a Airtact ED stock?
It seems the only problem with wood Striker stocks and the Striker/Edge/VMX is the VMX want fit in the Striker stock because the cocking linkage on the VMX is two pieces vs. one piece with the Striker/Edge if I'm remembering right.I had a .177 Striker 1000s gas ram that the plastic stock broke at the front stock screws. It dropped right in the wood Striker stock I ordered.
Well that would be a first, Leonard, because for all the wood Striker stocks I've ever gotten, not a single one came with or used that L shaped bracket. The rifles just dropped straight in those Striker stocks and didn't need one because the trigger packs on them attach to the bottom of the rifle. I've also never heard of anyone else having or needing one either.Heck, HatsanUSA doesn't even show one on the parts diagram for either the Striker or the Edge rifles. The .pdf file is attached below. The Model 95 however does because of that Quattro trigger and how it fits up inside the receiver. That L bracket is to support the front lower half and allmy 95's and it keeps the action from sliding once installed in the stock.

Half a guess but that Turk built Jaguar looks quite a bit like the Hatsan 85.

It came in the Striker 1000X.Could be any number of reasons. A simple packing mistake at Hatsan Arms in Turkey. Could well be any number of Striker's out there with them if a new assembler thought they went on the rifle so they installed in them until a trainer noticed maybe. I've had 6 between new rifles and just the new stocks and not a single one has that bracket.
I have had or still do both synthetic and wood stock versions, at least 7 or 8 of them, and neither version used the L bracket. I can't tell you why one popped out of your synthetic stocked rifle other than someone at the factory screwed up and put one in it by mistake during assembly. Heck, I own 4 Webley Valuemax rifles which are the same thing and none of them do either.
