Not an "M" but the original shorter stroke model.
I've got an original IZH 46 in the original box with extras, manual, tools with an updated Mac1 valve seat installed that has seen less than 1/2 a tins total use.
It sits in the safe as some sort of trophy and don't know why ???

Nice pick-up on that "M" designation there Scott. I usually look for that particular notation, but overlooked it being blown away by the asking price.
My 46M was my second 'Real' airgun purchase. In 2005 I think I paid somewhere around $283 for it, new, from AoA, and that included the Bushnell Red Dot Trophy sight and the B-Square sight mount.
It is one that I will never ever let go of, along with its brother, my MP532 rifle.
I shoot them about every other month or so, just to remind me of how nice life can be.

What is the value of a vintage model of this gun that is in near new condition? I know there has been a re release of this recently, but I'm curious as to why the older versions of this pistol are so coveted. I have one bought a while ago and maybe it needs to be in someone's hands that can make better use of it. The version I have does have the "M" and was bought about 15 years ago.
Also, Stinger177, that is a mighty nice looking grip!! I seem to recall that find a grip for that would accommodate my large hard was difficult for that pistol.

I have two. One each 46 & 46M. I like the 46 more due to easier cocking and lighter front end.

OK, you are referring to the original post. The price was an error. The pistol was re-listed and sold at a reasonable price. 8)
