Hi, CodytwoEyes and myself are hoping to arrange a get together somewhere in the local area the date and place is yet to be determined. Anyone and everyone is welcome I am trying to find a place near the Alabama, Florida state line so it would be easy traveling distance for anyone on the Gulfcoast from Biloxi, Mississippi to Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.
Any locals have a suggestion as to when and where to hold a get together?
This event is in the very preliminary planning stages so I’m just trying to gauge the interest and soliciting suggestions as to when, where to hold it, all and any suggestions are welcome.

Not sure if they would allow it as it is a members club but how about looking into the Escambia River Gun Club? Located in Cantonment, about 15 minutes or so off I-10 just a few miles into Florida so a decent central location. I'm new to airgunning (although I started with a Daisy CO2 pistol about 50 years ago...) so wouldn't mind meeting others and seeing different guns.

Not sure of a good spot, but I would definitely be interested in meeting other air gunners and learning more.

A get together would be wonderful. However, I think most people are hesitant to travel very far for a really small affair. I know for me it would be like four hours give or take.
I would very much like to attend some such get together and meet other air gunners and see some different guns.
I know there are air gunners in the Tallahassee area or else Wally World wouldn't sell out of 22. crosman pellets like they do.
I've just never been able to find them. I have contacted a couple from the "map" but haven't gotten any replies from anyone.

Tallahassee is probably closer to 3 hours but still too far for something like this. Especially since the response is so low. Good luck finding other shooters in Tallahassee! Wonder if Wally World is selling out to kids? If it's anything like our local store they keep the bare minimum in shooting supplies and when they run out takes weeks to see more on the shelves.

There is a nice county shooting range in Bay county (FL), just a few miles off hwy 79.

Any updates ? PC is not too far from Tallahassee. I'd make the trip if it looked like I wouldn't be the only one there.....:)

I'm still here and interested.
Work is starting to to take over my life and thru the end of the year we are just getting busier, so I may not have another free Saturday until January. But as slow as people respond to this thread, that timing may be good. ☺
