I know for a fact that my blood sugar levels affect my vision. When it spikes I get blurred vision and can't see chit.I don't even try to shoot until it's corrected.

When it spikes I get blurred vision and can't see chit.I don't even try to shoot until it's corrected. Thats exactly what happened to me! I'm hypoglycemic and didn't have enough carbohydrates it seems I forgot to eat because I was so busy. It hasnt hit me like that in years so i basically forgot all about the symptoms. lesson learned. Today all fueled up feeling good and back to shooting good. Lesson learned.
Testing pellets today and I'm just having one of those days,at first i thought I had a dirty barrel as i was shooting my known good gun and set up with known good ammo all over the place. cleaned barrel no go just as bad 2 inch groups at 40 yards when i normally stack them up. So changed optics again no go same issue. Went to back up gun also great shooter with good optics same thing. Changed ammo same thing. Well I ruled out everything except me so i'm packing it in today and see what tomorrow brings. Pretty frustrating.
Another weird shooting situation…A couple friends and I shoot paper targets indoors every week, and our scores are usually pretty good. However, when we switch to reactive targets, i.e. aspirin tablets, we dust them almost every time. Why are reactive targets easier to shoot then paper targets when they are the same size?
It's kinda like paintballs but they are just a bit bigger...If you clip an asprin on the edge with a pellet at 10 - 40 fpe it's gonna go up in a cloud of white dust. What's an asprin, 3/8 "? Now add 1/4" (.25 cal) to each side. So where are we now... 7/8"... ok, we'll reduce that to 3/4" just for gits and shiggles. So, would you be happy with a 3/4" groups on paper? The point is, you don't have to hit an asprin dead center to make in into a puff. But you almost do on paper to get the elusive one ragged hole.

Sometimes I try too hard.
