Attached is a drawing by Mr. Sterne in .30 cal. It's been added to Accurate's catalog. I can't seem to find it right now, but perhaps the website needs to update? It's mold number 30-062M

Looks good. Should be a bit faster than the more common offerings.

Possibly- it'll be even lighter after HP'ing.

This mold still isn't in the Accurate catalog. I sent an email this morning, trying to figure out what's up. Will update again when I get some info.

It usually takes Tom a few days to do the drawing and get it online.... Usually he doesn't assign a number until then, but perhaps now he gives you the number first, then does the drawing....

Looks similar to the 58j at accurate molds.
It needs to be hollow pointed as it is not very accurate out of my rainstorm. I hope this new one is accurate as a fp. It would make a nice penetrating round.

Looks similar- but the Ogives are different, the lube groove is deeper and the OAL is shorter w/the 058J. I too am hoping this slug does well. I'll have some cast up as FN, just so I can say I tested it as a FN, but I'm more interested in the HP version. Who knows? If the FN do well, I may order a 2nd mold and keep it a FN.

Subscribed. This mold looks interesting. I am on the look out for a good .30 cal slug mold. I hope the HP version drops the weight a good bit.

It definitely depends on how large and how deep the HP cavity is... The NOE 68 gr. BBT turns into a 62 gr once HP'd. This new slug should drop around 62 gr, and MAYBE once HP'd, it'll be 56 gr. Again- just a SWAG. I'll of course weigh out the slugs once everything is said and done.
