how long should a Mark 1 hold co2?

I was told that they should hold pressure for at least a week when the cartridge is new but don't know an owner to verify that. Any ideas?

It should hold for months or even a year or more if the seals are right. They are not that bad to reseal.

I've never tested mine for how long, but at times, it has held for months if the seals are good.
