Looking for any air gunners who are seriously (shoot at least once a week) into the sport, in SW Missouri to meet up with, generate new friendships within our common bond of the sport and love of air guns, shooting, tuning, etc.
I am recently retired, and just got back into airguns (since I was a kid) two years ago, and have amassed a fair "collection" so far, and would really like to meet up with anyone, male and or, female.. who takes the sport of air guns & shooting, fairly seriously (tries to shoot at least once a week), and is interested in meeting like minded new friends for shooting get-togethers, shop talk over meals, etc, etc.
I am married, and my wife is also getting into this sport, and also has several to shoot, from CO2 revolvers to break-barrels to a scoped Benjamin Discovery... so meeting up with other husband & wives, would be great.. but, certainly not "mandatory"... just looking for others with a genuine love for the sport to get together with.
I have a fair assortment, so far... of steel "reaction" targets to bring along to "help the cause" as well. ;D
Would love to hear from Any and All, who live anywhere in So. Western Missouri area, travel for us is Not a problem to meet up with others.

PS: When I say, SW. MO.... am really meaning anyone from the Springfield "area", (east & west of, also) and on down to the Branson and surrounding area, within a 30 mile radius or so, around those two cities and all the way in between.... like a giant "0val" area.

Shane Seals here and I own the Josephville Gun Shop in Wentzville, Mo. On Friday mornings I host and indoor air rifle shoot. We shoot pretty much every Friday unless it is a holiday week end. We shoot the Gammo target at 33 feet indoors not many rules. Some brace off the door frame and some shoot free hand. Usually 10-15 shooters, we start at 9:00am and quit at noon. There is no cost involved. I supply the targets and coffee and some one usually brings donuts. Bring your rifle and pellets or shoot one of ours. It is all about bragging rights. This is a very informal shoot, mostly a bunch of us old retired/retarded guys but some of the younger folks also. It started out as something to do inside during the winter for a few rimfire shooters and has grown from there and they will not let me stop it. All are welcome if it gets too big we can just shoot longer.
I am about 40 miles west of St. Louis Missouri just outside of Wentzville not far from the General Motors plant. Take Hwy 70 to exit 212 which is Hwy A go north on Hwy A to the third street on the right, Josephville road turn right I am 2.6 miles down on the left at the corner of Josephville and Wortman roads. 1561 Josephville road. call first if you are traveling far to make sure we are shooting that Friday 636-332-5450

Hello Shane, Thanks SO Much for your reply.
Today is Thursday, the 11th of Feb. and I will not be able to make it tomorrow, however.. we will certainly try and plan for Next Friday... weather, pending national / international financial collapse, and The Lord willing. :D Is it "strickly" for guys ?... as my wife would like to participate as well.
I will give you a call first, to be sure if it's "on"... as we would be coming a ways.... from the Branson area (about 18 miles east of)... and thank you for the ph. number and clear directions... much appreciated. Seeing as your primarily a group of "old retired/retarded guys"... I should fit right in (VN Vet - 3 tours).... and I come complete with lack of "vegetation" on the top... but my wife still has hers, so we're "good". ;D Talk Soon, and thanks again.

Thanks for your reply... great to know there are others "out there" in our corner of the state... and welcome to GTA !!
I've just recently been in contact with Two (2) others, in the area (though, closer to where we're located).... but, have not had any "personal" contact as of yet... but will meet up soon, I'm sure.
Do you have land to shoot on, where you are ?? Are you retired... or, still in the "work force" ?? Are you married, and "IF" so... does your wife, shoot with you, as well ? What kind of shooting (with AG's) do you prefer ? How long, have you been in this sport....(errr, "disease") ? ;D

My wife and I are in the Branson area... but, that's not "That" far from Strafford, at all..... stay in touch, and lets see what develops.
