After the rain here in SoCal, something had been cleaning out the peanut butter on the bait station. So, tonight, I put up the doorcam and and...it wouldn't work...new router so I needed to put in the new password, did that and a few minutes later...voila....something triggered the push notification about 7:50pm and there it was a large rat chowing down. I wasn't set-up, so I quickly grabbed the Prod, loaded a JSB sleeping pill, opened the window...darn..forgot the red flashlight...put that on and it was still there. Turned on the scopes IR, placed Prod on the tripods y-yoke, rattus was facing str8 on so I placed the illuminated dot on it's forehead and slowly released the trigger...thwap...a hit! Rat tumbled off the platform onto the grass, adult female approximately 14". Hopefully there is a male with her...,
Excellent shot Randal!!! Hopefully your Rat Traffic is picking up and you’ll see more!

Congratulations Randall. Good accurate shooting on the rat.Wow and a forehead shot too, impressive.. Thats a really small target. What an ordeal getting the shot off. It all came together though in the end.You must be a rat whisperer, to get that much cooperation from a rat.Best Wishes - Tom
Nice shooting Randall!
Good shooting Randall, that PRod has served you well and you are deadly with it…
