What pellets are you using with your XL.  My 0.22 likes just about any pellets type, but the 0.177 is very picky. The breech is  tight and did not accept comfortably any pellets but the JSB exact.

Right now all I have is the crosman pointed pellets and they have been okay. A few didn't want to go into the breach. I will give the jsb's and maybe some h&n's a try over the weekend

I tried the H&N's, they did not work.

Well that's depressing.  I suppose I will give them a try anyway but now I will try them with a lack of optimism :(

H&N makes so many different types of pellets. Are you saying you tried them all and none of them worked?
