I just bought another DF 2 pumper, 22 cal, included was a LDC,
6-1/2" long with a .600" diameter hole straight thru it, for a 22 cal pellet?

Help this Novice out if you will, "a .600" diameter hole straight thru it, for a 22 cal pellet".
Is the .600" (almost 5/8") hole through the barrel or just through the gun structure ?

Greville, just to give you a reference number, the hole in the end of my .25 Marauder is only .35 inches.  A .600 LDC is wwwaaayyy bigger than it needs to be for a .22 rifle.

That is what I believe also, has the same type of Crosman insert, I think, I can charge the hole size with an insert threaded to fit.
I tried it on the DF 22 cal and it sounded LOUDER than the plain bbl,
