Purchase a picatinny to picatinny riser to extend rail rearward.orpurchase a one piece picatinny scope mount (is there even such a thing?), mount it far back.oruse a longer scope.oroffset/extension rings.I'm surprised the current scope cannot be used by placing both rings in front of the turret.
If Bug Busters are so good why do I have 80+ rifles and no Bugbuster scopes.
My Bugbuster is great for me. Rugged. Handsome. Versatile. Kinda like me (but I digress). Don
Folks I did return the 9.1 inch long 4X Tasco fixed power air gun rated scope. Then ordered the Tasco air gun rated 3x-9x scope, which measures a hair over 12 inches. The extra length solved my problem of not being able to get the scope close enough to my eye to have a full reticle view. had to use some old Don-Stash pic rail rings. Here's my Xisico XS46U with the longer scope. Nice scope with bright, clear optics and duplex crosshairs. Like the 4X scope this one has an adjustable objective. Both scopes are hefty. I watched several good reviews of thius series of air gun rated scopes from Tasco.Annnnd of course, the weather has turned cold, wet and blustery for tonight and the coming week. Don
True, but I grew up with a simple crosshair Weaver K4 and had to learn estimation of holdover based on critter size. Squirrel head right at 1 1/2 inches. Rabbit head about 2 inches. Starling head 3/4 inches. Just got used to doing it that way. Still had to guestimate distance, drop and Kentucky windage. Still do. Don.
