Beeman P17 LDC
Ultramarine:
Outstanding, James! This is is a much smarter way to go, at another level. Installing a threaded barrel, long enough so that you don't have to remove the LDC with every shot and here you're ! LDC or not, I guess you gained some power, didn't you ?
Didn't know Daisy slip-on LDCs existed.

The B&R for the Daisy 415 works quite well….gun is pretty accurate out to 20 feet with Avanti BB’s…good luck
Frank in Fairfield:
With a longer barrel maybe the LDC for the Crosman barrels would fit?
No?
Turn the end of the barrel down on a lathe??
WobblyHand:
The issue is the LDC (if long enough) will hit the trigger guard when cocking. I believe there is a mod to alleviate that problem, but I haven't tried it. The "LDC" I made is too short to do much quieting, but it does fit when the P17 is cocked. Mine is a P-22, made from a 1322 barrel, but same idea. Made it using WyoMan's excellent threads on P-17's. If there was a quick detach it could work better. Just not much room to work with.
Hawkeye51:
If you convert the safety to manual then you can hold the trigger in while cocking and release it when the moderator hits the trigger guard. Slightly shorter stroke, but a longer barrel can make up the difference in fps.
