Welp I got off early today and pulled into Bass Pro on the way home and picked up some pellets to try out in my new to me gun.  Picked up a sample pack of RWS stuff, Gamo hunter and match diabolo, crosman wad cutter, crosman supermatch.  All shot off of bags in my basment at 15 yards, 72 degrees.  In order of worst to best.  The top bull was for sighter if it was close I didn't change poi.  All groups where 5 shot grps as I think those are alot harder than 3 shot ones.  Min 3 to max 5 rounds on the sighter in hopes it would foul the barrel to the new load.  Groups are measured center to center.

Rest of the targets.

The RWS Meister was by far the best, and I am still learning the fine points of shooting off the bags and what placement of the bag works the best.  Any other brands I need to look out for and try?  I got a good assortment of what they had.  Also I notice some brands where loose on loading is that something to avoid?

The  RWS Meister  have been one of my favorites. I find it best to have a pellet that fits snug but not tight in the breech. You may also want to try pellets from H&N. They are very clean with smooth castings.

Nice shooting! ;D

Thanks was alot of work took about 2 hours or so.  What is best for target shooting flat nose or dome?
